Ground Mount Solar System

Ground mounted solar arrays on the other hand can be more appealing for some home or business owners, especially if they actually have the extra land available for it.  Ground mounted modules can be easier to access, clean, and repair.  Also the array's are not limited in size or shape, they can be as big as you want.  What you'll want to keep in mind when thinking about having a ground mount solay system installed is the distance from the solar array's to the meter side of the house.  The longer distance, larger conductors, more conduit, dirt trenching, concrete footers, and building the arrays all play a role when comparing the cost to a roof mount design.  But it all depends on what you need, some homes or buildings for reasons just can't have solar panels roof mounted.
